Why?
Every year we come together to honor and memorialize those who have fought this horrible disease in a very valiant and heroic way, but also to raise awareness and funds to continue the battle.  We are once again excited to invite you to our 2017 Pennies for Pearls event.  With your donations, we provide Resources, Education, Referral and Support, to those who are fighting this battle every day and help to find a way to Ease the Burden and Find the Cure for Parkinson’s Disease.  All donations are tax deductible benefiting the American Parkinson Disease Association – Oklahoma Chapter to help those with Parkinson’s Disease and their families as well as educate those care providers in the community to better equip them to serve the Parkinson’s community.

What?
In coming to this event, your challenge is simple; to create a team of Music Experts who will compete for the ultimate award of 2017 Pennies for Pearls Champion.  Trust us, the competition is fierce. Tables are $800 for 8 people.  This includes Dinner, Silent Auction, Dessert Auction, Wine pull and tons of fun!  First, second and third place teams will receive a framed gold, silver or bronze (in color) LP record.  Each participant will also receive their own framed matching 45 record gold, silver or bronze (in color) as well as bragging rights for the next year.

Where?
This event will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at 777 W. Cherokee Street, Catoosa, OK.  
This exciting venue provides us the space and beauty for a fun yet exclusive event.

Silent Auction/ Wine Donation
If you or your organization would like to make a silent auction or wine donation, please complete the following Silent Auction-Wine Donation Form  to the APDA – Oklahoma Chapter Office via mail at PO Box 3113, Broken Arrow, OK  74013 or email to jjohnson@apdaparkinson.org.    Our office will follow up with you to arrange pickup of your item.  Thank you so much for your support.  Every donation makes a difference.  Please keep in mind that we prefer items that are non-perishable, however, if you would like to make a donation of a dessert item for our dessert auction (must be purchased from a professional bakery) or another perishable item, you may need to drop off the item the morning of the event on April 8, 2017 to ensure freshness.

The Hard Rock Hotel has provided a special rate for those attending Pennies for Pearls 2017.   This is completely separate from your registration for the Music Trivia night.  Please review the information below and follow the links to reserve your room before April 1, 2017.

Group Individuals Make Their Own Reservations:

  1. Group individuals may make reservations directly with Resort by calling toll free number 1-800- 760-6700. Pennies for Pearls 2017 to receive the special group rate by  Saturday, April 1, 2017.
  2. Via internet at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Booking by Saturday, April 1, 2017 you may enter your dates on the left side of the page along with remaining information required.

The cut-off date for all Group guest room reservations is April 1, 2017.  Any rooms not reserved by this cut-off date will be returned to Resort for general sale.  After this cut-off date, additional rooms for the Group can be reserved on a space available basis at published rack rates.  If you are in need of an ADA room, please request when calling.
